Design Concepts

The Plan's architects took into account

four design concepts that are essential in

making the Plan's vision a reality.

CHARACTER•

The campus will embrace an open

concept that invites community to visit

and utilize its historic sites and landscape

during a formal event or casual stay.

EXPERIENCE•

New Campus concepts will create a

unique visitor experience, allowing each

to customize their visit, while making it

memorable.

INTEGRITY•

The campus pays respect to the original

footprint of the Tallman family

Homestead, while augmenting the

spaces around it with historically

appropriate materials and landscape.

FUNCTIONALITY•

By offering spaces of varying sizes that

can serve multiple purposes, the campus

is truly open and offered to all who wish

to enjoy its interior and exterior spaces

through programming, rentals or

relaxation.
