POWER•

Three power hubs to be

used in campus, event or

rental operations are being

proposed to be located

adjacent to the North

Lawn, Carriage House plaza and Core

plaza. Two styles, pedestal or recessed hubs

are options for minimal evasion onto the

campus landscape and features.

PATHWAY & LANDSCAPE

LIGHTING•

High traffic concrete and

gravel walkways will be

illuminated using stem

mounted pathway lights. A

"Moonlighting" technique will be used to

highlight specific tree canopies.

BUILDING LIGHTING•

Cupolas of both the

Tallman and Carriage

House will have either

interior or exterior

illumination. Perimeter

eaves, sides and front facades of select

sites will be showcased in the evening by

exposed or recessed fixtures, all operated

on a timing system.

FEATURE LIGHTING•

Strategic placement of

lighting in operational

areas will guide visitors at

night to site entrances,

down stairways and to

seating areas. A video story line will be

projected onto the west face of the

Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center that

inspires and informs.

Lighting

Use of the campus at night will

become more of a reality with a

comprehensive lighting program. The

LED illumination of specific site

features, textural landscape materials

and strategic use of video projection

will enhance the open campus

concept. Minimal invasive electrical

work is essential in keeping to the

integrity of each campus site and

landscape. Operations of the lighting

system will be controlled from a

central source, utilizing the latest

control technology via WiFi or IP

address. Separate switch legs for

each section of the campus is

desirable.
