An Experience For Kids Of All Ages

Note: This exhibit is designed for children of ages 4 to 18.
Get ready to relive your childhood and kick start your imagination as our new exhibit, “Toys @ Play” officially opens! Embracing all decades and encouraging playtime, this brand new exhibit features toys past and present, and offers many unique experiences unlike you have ever seen in a museum exhibit. Have fun playing our assortment of games, check out our sweet soap-box derby racer, embrace your inner superhero, and so much more!
This fully-interactive exhibit is THE destination for families and bored children of all ages to come and have some fun at the museum center.
The exhibit runs from April 1 through December 31, 2016. Don’t miss your chance to play at the RCHS museum campus in 2016!

ADA-Compliant Exhibit

Toys @ Play is fully ADA-compliant with the exhibit being located on ground level and an elevator-accessible ticketing desk.


On-street parking is available on North Jackson Street in front of the Lincoln Tallman House, in the Charles Tallman Archives parking lot off of Jackson Street or in the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center parking lot off of Franklin Street.

The Toys @ Play exhibit is located in the lower gallery of the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center, located at 426 N. Jackson St., Janesville, WI.


Tickets to the Toys @ Play exhibit are $5 for adults and $3 for children (age 6-17). Admission is free for all children (age 5 and under) and for RCHS Members

Exhibit Hours

During April-May, the exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. During June-December, it is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.


The [email protected] exhibit is the perfect place to hold your child’s next birthday party. Start the day off with cake and pizza and then experience toys past and present.
