Help celebrate two notable women in Rock County at a new, limited-time exhibit! See the costumes and memorabilia of the late Sherry Thurner, well-known as Janesville’s “cemetery expert,” and Janesville’s Cindi Morgan Dyke, the first Miss Janesville to be named Miss Wisconsin and compete in the Miss America Pageant.

Every object has a story. Comprised of all shapes and sizes, the Society’s vast artifact collections contain everything from political pins to art and even an Iron Horse! Our collections that were previously showcased primarily in our exhibits are now available in online galleries. Easy online access gives the Rock County community a chance to gain an immediate understanding of our many treasures.
