Discover the Lincoln-Tallman House

In 1857 the Italianate Mansion of William Morrison Tallman was completed and was considered one of the finest mansions of the Midwest.  Today the Lincoln-Tallman House remains as a symbol of elegance, sophistication, and festive events.  Experience Janesville’s jewel yourself as you entertain your guests in the Tallman House.  Join the many individuals and companies who have used the House as a venue for their event.  Business leaders and community members have found that this historic home provides a unique setting for meetings, private dinners, parties, weddings, and other events.

Mansion Reception—$1000 for a three hour time period, plus $200 for each additional hour.  Includes use of the main hallway, library, tea room and woodshed.

Mansion Ceremony Only—$500 for a three hour time period, plus $100 for each additional hour.  Includes use of the main hallway, library, and woodshed.

Mansion Business Meeting—$500 for a three hour time period, plus $100 for each additional hour.  Includes use of the main hallway, library, and woodshed.

Parking—Free on street parking and use of our upper and lower parking lots at the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center.

Piano—$100 for use of the Tallman House piano located in the front parlor.  This space will be roped off and used only by the performer.

Grounds—$500 for the use of the Lincoln-Tallman House grounds and bathrooms at the Lincoln-Tallman House.  Three hour time period, plus $100 for each additional hour.  Party to supply tent, party supplies, decorations, caterer, caterer’s tent, and flowers and is responsible for their removal.  Renters are encouraged to rent tents for outdoor events.  Inclement weather may extend and delay the rental period.  Outdoor renters with more than 100 in their party must also supply additional portable toilets.
